The Opportunity: We are seeking a strategic and insights-driven Engagement & Content Strategy Lead who will play a pivotal role in accelerating funnel progression and identifying opportunities to upsell or engage key customer segments. This role goes beyond content creation—it's about designing high-impact content strategies fueled by engagement data, customer insights, and business goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to analyze behavioral data, assess content performance, and steer strategic communications that influence decision-making across the buyer’s journey. You’ll also guide the editorial direction and help prioritize content investments that contribute to measurable revenue impact.

You understand how to interpret digital signals (web traffic, CRM engagement, campaign metrics) to shape messaging and campaigns that resonate. Key Responsibilities:
· Engagement Strategy & Funnel Optimization Develop a data-informed content and contact strategy that targets customer and prospect segments based on where they are in the buying journey—supporting upsell, retention, and acquisition efforts.
· Content Positioning for Revenue Impact Lead the strategic positioning of content to align with product priorities, lifecycle
stages, and sales plays—ensuring the right messages reach the right audience at the right time.
· Content Performance & Analytics Partner with marketing ops and sales teams to define key engagement metrics. Monitor performance (open rates, click-through, web behavior, pipeline influence) and recommend optimizations based on actionable insights.
· Persona & Journey Mapping Refine and maintain target persona profiles and customer journeys. Use insights to drive tailored content experiences across owned and paid channels.
· Strategic Campaign Planning Collaborate with creative, product marketing, and growth teams to design campaigns and sequences that drive measurable movement in the funnel—especially for named accounts and expansion opportunities.
· AI-Enabled Content Execution Leverage AI and automation tools to scale personalization, identify new opportunities, and streamline content workflows.
· Web & Digital Experience Strategy Guide web content and engagement flows to support conversion and engagement KPIs. Use CMS and UX insights to keep digital properties optimized for performance.
· Thought Leadership & Sales Enablement Create or oversee creation of strategic assets like market insights, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and executive decks that support sales cycles and brand authority.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in B2B content strategy, digital engagement, or marketing strategy roles (SaaS or energy/commodities experience preferred)
· Deep understanding of how to use data to optimize messaging and drive performance across channels
· Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot) and engagement analytics platforms
· Excellent writing, messaging, and storytelling abilities—especially when paired with a commercial mindset
· Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, advisory, and product
· Strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for customer-centric growth
· Experience with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), and familiarity with modern AI content tools and video platforms
