Managing Partner and Chairman of Trilantic Energy Partners North America
CHRISTOPHER ("CHRIS") MANNING is a Managing Partner of Trilantic North America and Chairman of Trilantic Energy Partners North America. Chris is also a member of the Investment Committees of Fund III, Fund IV Global, Fund V North America, TEP I North America, Fund VI North America, and TEP II North America. His primary focus is on investments in the energy sector. Chris joined Trilantic North America in 2009 at its inception, prior to which he was at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking (LBMB). Chris joined LBMB in 2000 and was the Head of Lehman Brothers' Investment Management Division, including both the Asset Management and Private Equity businesses, in Asia-Pacific from 2006 to 2008. He was also a member of the Global Investment Management Division Executive Committee and the Private Equity Division Operating Committee. Prior to joining the Natural Resources investment banking practice at Lehman Brothers, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer of The Wing Group, a developer of international power projects. Prior to The Wing Group, he was in the investment banking department of Kidder, Peabody & Co., where he worked on M&A and corporate finance transactions in the energy industry. Chris is currently a director of AEGIS Hedging Solutions, DJR Energy, Indigo Natural Resources, Solaris Midstream, TRP Energy and Velvet Energy. Chris was previously Chairman of the Board of LB Pacific and TLP Energy and a director of Antero Resources Corporation (NYSE: AR), Antero Midstream GP (NYSE: AM), Enduring Resources, Mediterranean Resources, Trail Ridge Energy and VantaCore Partners.
Chris holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Chris currently serves on the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Advisory Council; is Chairman of the University of Texas New York for McCombs Executive Committee and is a Board Member of the University of Pennsylvania's Squash Committee.
